Down the TBR Hole #1

I saw this really fun tag, Down the TBR Hole over at Howling Libraries, and I immediately knew that I was going to try this! It was originally created by Lost in a Story.

This is how it works:

  • Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or more if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopsis of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?
  • Keep track where you left off so you so can pick it up again next week.

If you want to, feel free to join in! I will be doing this every week until I’ve cleaned up my entire to-read list.

I have had this book on my to-read list for forever, but I will still definitely read it (hopefully somewhere this year).

The Judgement: KEEP!

21186060Born Weird by Andrew Kaufman

I really like Andrew Kaufman’s books, I just hadn’t had the opportunity to get my hands on this one yet. I will definitely read it in the future!
The Judgement: KEEP!

This beautiful little novella was a gift for a Secret Santa, but after having it for a while, I discovered that you first need to read Dream a Little Dream. I have no interest in reading that book so I will sell/donate this novella.

The Judgement: GO!

heroinecoverHow to be a Heroine by Samantha Ellis

This was also a gift from the same Secret Santa. I still haven’t read enough classics to enjoy this to the fullest. I was going to sell it/donate it, but as I am planning on reading a lot more classics this year, I will be keeping it!

I was super interested in this one after I saw a review of it years ago. Since then I have been looking everywhere to get my hands on it, but I just wasn’t able to find it. Even book depository fails me. So I’m afraid that I will never read this book.

The Judgement: GO!

Now let me know if you’ve read any of these books or have any of these books on your TBR. Do you agree with me keeping them/getting rid of them?
